LEE Kyung
When cognizing an object, a person tries to see the whole thing. However, a camera only captures a part that the artist wishes to portray. Also the artist expresses through a portion or a section of an object, and sometimes this echoes more effect. LEE kyung has deep sensitivity on literature. She captures adequate breathe and distance from the subject in her photographs. If the essence lf the art is considered as the nirror that relects oneself or the window that shows the world, LEE's works exactly follows that definition. The photographs from Tropism represent unconsciousness. Traveling Paris, LEE finds herself through the subjects I darkness, and captures them in photograph. And the subjects in the middle of snow are also the reflection of the artist traveling Sapporo, Japan.
